My Background
I began my journey into woodworking when I started teaching woods and carpentry at Oak Hills High School in 1977.
While at Oak Hills I also coached Football and Track and Field. I retired from teaching in 2012 but continued to remain on the Track and Field staff until 2020.
After 43 years of coaching I decided to fill my new found time by reverting back to my first love of working with wood. My shop is a post and beam barn built in 1880 and I wanted to turn it into a place to repurpose old hand hewn beams that are well over 150 years old. Join me as I grow and venture into this new phase of designing and creating what I hope to be pieces of art that will be around for another 150 years.
